Episode Intro Notes
What We Will Cover
Greetings, Definers! Coming to you mid-month with a bonus episode for your hungry ears.
Remember how weird it was to see your teacher outside of your classroom as a kid? Is this the same thing?
Energy management is a topic we could devote an entire series of episodes to, but we wanted to provide this bonus episode now as a way to communicate findings of a timely 2021 report compiled by Atrius analyzing trends in the energy management space.
About the report
Between September and October 2021, Atrius and Smart Energy Decisions (the first web-based information resource dedicated exclusively to addressing the information needs of commercial and industrial electric power customers) deployed a 20-question survey to energy, facility, and sustainability leaders in various organizations across seven industries.
Respondents range in industry from government, higher education, industrial, and commercial, among others, with company employee counts ranging from under 100 to over 10,000.
We believe this survey provides valuable insights into how sustainability professionals across industries are scrutinizing their energy consumption and incorporating tools to better manage it. Our hope is that this episode will educate all Definers interested in this space and help folks chart their path to better energy management, no matter where they are along their journey.
